Internal transport planning made easy with RoutMan®
RoutMan® is a planning tool for material flow, enabling efficient deployment of internal resources such as tugger trains, forklifts, and AGVs.
This is RoutMan® – efficient, intuitive, flexible
Unsure how many forklifts, tugger trains, and/or AGVs are needed in your production and how they can be used efficiently in terms of routes and traffic? Each transport concept must be designed specifically for the individual process and not every concept is economical at all times. Thanks to software-supported planning with RoutMan®, realistic comparative calculations and cross-manufacturer technology analyses can be carried out within a very short time, and possible optimization measures can be derived for transport within company premises.
RoutMan® as a complete solution
We participated in a workshop with LOGSOL for two days, which focused on the RoutMan®️ software. During this time, we were able to develop an understanding of how RoutMan®️ works and what criteria are taken into account. These criteria have a direct impact on the efficiency of our red trains. We also had the opportunity to use RoutMan®️ for existing cases to review our previous decisions as well as for future changes. The suggestions we received from RoutMan®️ seemed interesting and useful. Now we have enough time to use RoutMan®️ on our own and confirm our initial assessment.

RoutMan® Academy
For material flow planning in digital factory planning, the planning of route trains is an important component. RoutMan® is a very good solution for us for this planning task and, as SaaS, offers a software solution that is easy for us to use and maintain. Since the calculation models are all aligned with the relevant VDI guideline, the overall context of route planning can be taught very well first theoretically and then practically with RoutMan® using an industry example. Furthermore, we see a very good opportunity in the future to couple RoutMan® with VisTable and then to realize a continuous, holistic material flow and layout planning.

Frequently asked questions about the RoutMan®
Which usage instances can be mapped with RoutMan®?
RoutMan® is a planning tool for internal transport processes. Forklift transports, tugger train systems, and AGVs can all be specifically dimensioned and evaluated. The software can be used for a new plant design or for optimization of an existing supply concept. Our logistics planning experts will be happy to support you in this.
How can I find out if RoutMan® is suited to my company?
We can arrange a no-obligation appointment to give you a live demonstration of RoutMan®. Please contact us at routman@logsol.de.
Which industries is RoutMan® suited to?
RoutMan® can be used across all industries by any company with internal transport processes such as forklifts, tugger trains, and AGVs.
How can I use RoutMan®?
We lease our software under the software-as-a-service (SaaS) model for a defined period (12, 24, or 36 months) and an agreed number of users. Alternatively, you can also get to know the tool and benefit from its use as part of a logistics planning project. Depending on the scope of planning, an analysis workshop for modeling a concrete planning scenario may also be appropriate.
What data is required for a quotation for the implementation and use of RoutMan®?
To prepare an initial price indication we need the following information:
- How many users will have access to the system?
- How many routes/stations/needs exist in the current and/or future coverage plan?
- Which means of transport are used or will be used for your internal transport?
- How do you currently plan internal transport processes? Have you already established a solution or is there currently no dimensioning of technology requirements?
How does LOGSOL support me during software implementation?
RoutMan® is a web application and is made available via the Internet. No software installation is necessary. All users can access the software using their login data via a customer-specific domain in any popular Internet browser.
