Shaping the future: LOGSOL opens its doors in Chemnitz

On April 11, 2024, LOGSOL invited customers and partners to an open day and gave guests an exclusive insight into the new office space at the Chemnitz site.

Since taking over the fabrik-ID employees in May 2022, the site has grown continuously and the old office soon reached the limits of its capacity. In May 2023, we moved into the 430 m² office space at Bahnhofstraße 10. The office is equipped with 22 ergonomically designed workstations and is located directly opposite Chemnitz Central Station. The special charm of the open-plan office is characterized above all by the numerous balconies with picturesque views of Chemnitz city centre.

Competitive advantages through automation and digital transformation: success stories and innovative approaches

The first guests arrived at 2 pm. Visitors had the opportunity to take a tour of the premises until 3 p.m., after which the presentation by our Principal Logistics and Factory Planning Christoph Kaufmann began immediately: “Competitive advantage through automation in warehousing and production”. Christoph shared numerous success stories and field reports. The focus was particularly on our customer Kimberly-Clark. The presentation offered visitors exciting insights into the practice of LOGSOL strategies.

After a short break, the next presentation by Carsten Gutmann, also Principal Logistics and Factory Planning, took the guests further into the fascinating world of digital transformation in logistics. His presentation covered insightful aspects and innovative approaches that are already being used in the industry today and will be in the future.

The final highlight of the day was the guided tour of the office building and the historic “Villa Zimmermann”, led by architect Claus Höhn. Mr. Höhn took the participants on a short journey through architectural history and reported on the creation and development of the building ensemble.

Our open day in Chemnitz was a complete success. The event not only offered the opportunity to explore the new office facilities, but also to gain in-depth insights into the technologies and strategies that make LOGSOL a pioneer in the logistics industry. And of course, the event was also used for general exchange and networking. This day undoubtedly inspired many visitors and showed how innovation and tradition can go hand in hand to master the challenges of the future.
